Cameron & Danielle ~ Hidden Oaks, Rancho Cucamonga Wedding
When Dani was 12, her youth leader helped her make a can to collect things that were important to her that she could one day give to her future husband. It sat in her closet until she met Cameron. She was 14 when she met Cameron for the first time. They had chemistry immediately but Dani certainly made him work for her (she attributes his work ethic to him fighting for her for so long). They were high school sweethearts. They met between every class and exchanged note, drawings and kisses. They went to every high school dance together. Dani started saving all of the things that were important to the two of them hoping one day they would be married.

This beautiful couple gathered their closest friends and family and met in the incredible Lake Las Vegas area of Nevada to make their love official. It was such a gorgeous setting and a beautiful day. Their loved ones were wonderful, The venue was lovely, the ceremony was incredibly touching and the reception was so much fun I had to hold myself back from breaking it down on the dance floor. Enjoy a piece of their perfect day.

Treigh & Chelsie – Newport Beach LDS Temple Wedding
Talk about learning to dance in the rain….literally. It started when after invitations were out, they learned that the reception venue was not structurally sound and they would have to change to another building and notify all of their guests. Then, as their wedding day approached, all of us stalked the weather hoping for the best. After a last minute change in the weather pattern threatened our beach shoot plans, we went for it and beat the storm! Treigh and Chelsie were so relaxed about the change in plans. They were totally up for an adventure when I showed them the location I thought would be perfect!
When I arrived to the Newport Beach Temple, it was pouring rain!
Even with all of the obstacles threatening to “dampen” their spirits, this fabulous couple and their wonderful families pulled off and incredible wedding. So beautiful!
Chelsie and Treigh are surrounded by wonderful people who know how to throw a party! I literally smiled and laughed the entire day and it took all of my restraint to not join them on the dance floor!
Enjoy a preview of their day.

Michael & Tiffany ~ LA Temple Wedding
We began in the lush Topanga Canyon at the Tuscali Mountain inn and then made our way to the LA LDS Temple to make their love forever. I’ve never been so engulfed in such love and respect and selflessness. This gorgeous couple was so wonderful. Sweet Tiffany spent much of the day complimenting everyone else at how wonderful they looked and how grateful she was that they were sharing the day with her. Michael was so thoughtful and gentle with his sweet bride it literally brought tears to my eyes. Here is to the legacy you have begun…enjoy the preview of your day!
A Swedish Christmas inspired wedding
It was so much fun being immersed in the creative vision of a Swedish Christmas through the eyes of the fabulous Heather from Amorology. As we chose the location and set the plan in motion, I enjoyed listening to Heather reminisce with her mother about her childhood and the swedish traditions they treasured in their home. The smells, the tastes, the visual beauty we find in our past mold who we are and create a legacy of traditions for the future.
And after all, who doesn’t dream of a Swedish Christmas?….Enjoy!

Scott & Raylene ~ Whimsical Wedding ~ Huntington Beach, CA
I can’t say enough about this gorgeous couple. I have known Scott for many, many years. Raylene came in to his life and instantly, she felt like a long lost friend. I am so excited for the life they are building together. It was a joy to be able to capture their most precious moments. Here is just a taste of their day…
Classic Vintage Styled Wedding ~ Rancho Cucamonga
This styled shoot quickly became the epitome of everything I find beautiful. Historic architecture, vintage tea parties and classic furniture. Brittany Dow and I had such a great time creating the perfect backdrop to this beautiful hand made gown and gorgeous couple Ashley and Chris.
In the process, I am pretty sure I crossed a few things off my bucket list.
First, I re upholstered my fabulous vintage couch that I found at a great little antique store (note to self to NEVER try that again;). AND, I was so inspired by this gorgeous historic home that I walked up to the front door and asked if we could use the front porch for our shoot. The homeowners were so wonderful and excited about the whole thing. What is more wild? When Brittany met them on the day of the shoot, they realized that they knew each other from a class their kids were in (Note to self to make Brittany randomly solicit locations since she seems to know everyone;). Enjoy this inspired wedding….

Mark & Lauren ~ Kansas City LDS Temple ~ Southern Vintage Wedding
My family moved to California when I was in 1st grade. That first day at my new school, I met some of the most important people of my life. Katherine Nelson and Maren Gibb. A whirlwind of memories ensued and I will always treasure those moments that truly defined who I would become. During those years, My brother began dating Katherine’s sister. It was a DREAM come true. We plotted with our other sisters (who also happened to be best friends) to make sure that they got married so we would always be connected by family. It worked (or maybe it happened on its own;). My brother John and Katherine’s sister Jenni were married the following year. We were flower girls.
Years later, I remember hearing the news while Katherine, Maren and I were on the playground at school that Lauren was born. Lauren is loved. That is for sure. And, when the Hatch Family (my maiden name;) and the Nelson family come together for a party…..its gonna be good!! Jenni and Lauren know how to plot an amazing event and it was so inspiring to be a part of the process as it all came together beautifully. Marks family was so fabulous. They were right there in the mix of everything and it was so great to welcome such a great group of people to the family!!
Paula, one of Laurens NINE aunts, created the gorgeous gown. A soft pink color with beautiful hand set lace. One layer was hand stitched together by Laurens mom. Stunning.
To make it even more special? Lauren and Mark were the first bride and groom to be sealed in the newly dedicated Kansas City LDS Temple.
I can’t even express how much I love this couple. When these two are together, it is magic!! Mark is wonderful, adores Lauren and makes her happy. That is all I could ever ask for my sweet niece. Enjoy a piece of their beautiful wedding.
Thanks Brittany Dow for traveling so far to shoot with me!!
